Boats

Well the Saturday of the long weekend at Boat Harbour wasn't the best for captures, but here are a few boat shots I liked (click the image for a full size version).

Interesting comments guys re: the misty boats.

When I do a lot of PP before I'm happy with a shot I get concerned it's over done. The boats somehow still looked lacking at the second variation above so I added a soft focus and some fog to give an early morning feel (in fact these were shot at about 4 pm). Can't tell now whether I went too far. I'll let this one settle for a while and revisit it for a decision :? :?

I guess at the end of the day, the first person that has to be pleased with the image is me.

Maybe I should try an inversion
