Ben - Shouldn't you

The first one is still an ordinary shot (sorry). The one of the boat I like the colour, but think your original must have been OK too. The last one of those boys diving into the water looks best in B &W.

I agree with the first one being a crap shot actually. Often when I PP I choose a few that when I look at again in an hour I realise just arn't up to scratch.
After having looking at them more, my liking for the shots is: Boat in colour, first two of the kids in colour and the last of the kids in black and white.
WRT: I figure it's best to have a proper break rather than just staring aimlessly at the page, as happens after too long.

That first diver shot was a decisive moment. By displaying it on the forum you just lost yourself a D70s. To make matters worse...I have a similar shot and now I can't use it for the comp either. Curse you again Baron Von Pippin!

Do you really think so Matt?
If the kid hadn't been blurred I might consider it so, but I didn't think it good enough as it was. (And with the alterations, would it have been acceptable?)

A bit of blur would be acceptable in that kind of image...and you will kick yourself if an inferior image takes first prize. I think it had a chance.
