running on water

here is a quick post from yesterday as I watched fellow nuts swing out into the water. This one was rather interesting. Kind of looks like he is sprinting across the water. I had to bump the ISO up to get the shots so it may look a little grainy.

he does look like he's running on water

The ISO noise isn't noticeable, and the shot has exceptional shadow detail, but the DOF is a bit shallow.

Next time try shooting around F8, or get closer to the subject and pan on him so the background is motion blurred. I think either would add to the look.

I wanted to get into my kayak to get the shots but I love my D70 too much. The water there can be pretty squirrely. thanks for the suggestions buddy. see you tomorrow!

thanks for the feedback guys. I hope to go down there on a brighter day and take some shots that are more crisp .
