Another zoo shot..
This was taken at the Taronga zoo free flight bird show which I highly recomend

This is a trained wedge tailed eagle, the strap you see trailing him helps the handler hold him...

Good capture MHD. The shadow detail is a bit lost though, shame the sun wasn't a bit lower

This is one of the birds we've yet to spot down Werribee way. It's next on our list along with a Peregrin Falcon

yes... The shadow detail is there but to bring it out I would have to blow the beak out even more (only the very tip is blown in the RAW file)
I agonised over this one for a while when PPing

I might try a composite image using one compo for the beak and another for the body

I like it how it is.


Just a small note to remember.

Its hard to Soar like an Eagle ,
When you are surrounded by Turkeys!!
