Great shots again, Kerry. You can almost smell the perfume of the rose.

What time did you take these photos? Would've liked to see it more in natural lighting or a bit warmer. The flash lighting is a bit harsh for my liking and the water spray reflections make the rose look plastic.

Love the colours and the detail on that VR lens though :D

I quite like the lighting. I find it nice and bright and shows the flower really well, even the shadows have good light in them. Too often people shoot flowers and the image tends to be a bit too dark.

Well done. Great still life.

These shots were taken at 5pm, in direct sunlight. Can't shoot at 1/500s @ f/36 without flash and without the darkened background, unless I put a portable generator and hot lights in my pack. 8)
