Any suggestions? Shot manual/indoors with window on the left. I had real problems with the focus on this one. (Obviously exposure as well) Tried to focus lock but it would'nt focus inside the slide at all. Exif data available if required. Thanks. 1st shot is my PP effort.

Great expressions on the kids! Well caught.

Regarding the PP, the kids look a bit too unnatural to me, kind of ghostly. I'm not a PP pro, so I wouldn't know how to help.

Looking forward to hear others tips.

Hi Marcus,
Great action shot indeed. Did you shoot RAW? If you did u will find that by having a play with WB and exposure u MAY be able to 'fix' the intensity of the blue and somwhat (as already stated) un natural ghostly appearance of the kids. I like the shot though, well done!

Looks like you have regained some higlight detail in your PP but i think the focus is on the outside of the slide. Maybe manual focussing would have been an advantage if you had problems with auto focus? Still its a great, fun image!

Thanks guys (& girls)....to be politically correct.

Beej - I take your point, just trying to brighten them up a bit (maybe too much?) I probably should have "left them in the dark" as kids should be

Geoff - I just got "Nikon Capture" and I am about to embark on a RAW adventure. Keep you posted!

Embi - I was too concerned with lighting etc to even consider switching to manual focus! Idiot = Me! I stupidly tried to lock onto the inside of the slide even though my lens said: "Ah..no can do". Hindsight is a beautiful thing (and a bitch too)
