went for a little drive into town after the 18th June minimeet
and met a few birds that afternoon, one asked me very politely
"please let me pose for you by the water arthur..."
both taken with the 70-300 G handheld with a CPL filter

Pretty good shot, Art.
Color and exposure is good. The head and eye are a little soft. You might want to stop down a little, to find the sweet spot for sharpness on the lens at that focal length and keep your ISO up high enough so that you can have a shutter speed fast enough to minimize camera shake.

Hi Arthur,
I am surprise at the sharpness and quality of your shots here. The sharpness, clarity and colour is definitely better that what i would have expected of the 70 - 300G. The first is tact sharp.
regards,
Arthur Yeo.

thanks people
about the lens being in the right hands..im not sure about that haha
it was only the first time out shooting with an slr
hopefully things only get better
well one can only hope
the first shot looks pretty gracefull
its funny because in real life the pigeon was bent back like that
and was biting its feathers like crazy, it seemed so frustrated
and was biting so angrily
must have had some fleas
i was just lucky
