Wombat (or should I call you willy since we already have another Wombat here ),

A nice bunch of captures, but one thing I'd suggest is to be mindful of those still on dial up. There are about 1Mb of pics to load here. I'd suggest you embed sayyour favourite three and hyperlink the rest, or make them all smaller.

Anyway , back to the pics
#1 - good capture - nice & natural pose - but I'd have liked to have seen the left foot

#5 is a great group shot - nice & sharp, well lit - would have been interested on how this would have looked with a shallower DOF

#6 - great - sharp as a tack - you can even see his battle scars

#7 - a trifle dark - could be fixed in PP (and foot missing again)

Please be aware that the criticisms are of tiny aspects aimed at suggesting things to watch for in future. From my experience I know I sometimes try too hard to get the quick shot without paying enough attention to the framed image in the veiwfinder (hence my comments on feet for example) Overall the shots are great, but could be better and will be with more experience. Thanks for sharing these. Apes are just such great subjects.

Thanks Peter for these comments. I had not even noticed the foot issue.

I was not aware that there were so many dial up users on the forum. I will keep this in mind in the future. To all those who i have pissed off by posting so many pics, well you can throw eggs at my next submission. Will link a few too. I also love #6. Its one of my favorites.
