Hi All,

I was in Maroochydore for a long weekend break last weekend. Had a nice apartment overlooking the mouth of Maroochy river....unfortunately rained most of the time...sky was overcast and really not too many photo opportunities...lucky I had my fiancee and some red wine to keep me company.

Here is a pic I took at the crack of dawn...dont ask what I was up at that hour  This was the view from my balcony :D

I did manage to get out to do some mountain biking...of course the trail was full of mud...but it was fun anyway :D
Here is a shot of the Parklands State Forest near Nambour

Let me know what you think?

nice pix's......... but if you crop at the base of the tree in the middle and have more of a pano look this should improve this image, great colour overall in both pix's........

cheers

Certainly looks like the Sunshine coast as i remember it. Lots of clouds and rain. :)

I feel that both of those lics could do with the panorama crop. Make them long and thin and i reckon they would look sensational. Nice saturation though. the green in the woodland shot is so verrryyy green.

Thanks for the comments....I was trying to do a panorama crop...but i guess probably not extreme enough.

Perhaps I oversaturated that forest shot...It soooo easy to get carried away when PP

I love the trees and I don't think you went too far with the saturation (no futher though) gives it a lush look. It could have done with a wider crop but it looks great.

The first one definatly has too much sky in it... IMHO i'd crop off 1/2 the sky but it's still is a nice capture.
