Mods - feel free to move to film forum if you want. I cant seem to post there at the moment?

So i am into underwater photography in a pretty big way. Im looking forward to the day i can afford a housing for the d70 to take it swimming with the dolphins.

Here are some pics i took in WA in February, using Fujichrome Velvia.

Critique/compliments/suggestions all are welcomed and appreciated. Enjoy

Thankyou - I am quite happy with these exposures. It is very easy to stuff up the lighting in UW photography, but this whole roll came out nice. The camera is a Nikonos V (five).

Nice pics

If you can't post in that forum you may not have been given full access - you can check by trying to get into the Bargains section. IF this is not working PM one of the admins.

Nice work!
What strobe are you using??
I have Ikelite housings for my D70 & F80. The D70 is really hard to balance the lighting as well as you have. Often wish for TTL.

From memory is was a Sea and sea YS60TTL-N. Not my camera unfortunately. Borrowed it off a friend.

I hear that WB and over exposure is a pain with underwater digital photography. I bet Raw format helps in this regard. I look forward to being able to take 100 shots per dive rather than the 35 or so i get out of a roll of film.
