the tree reminds me of one seen at the Kings Canyon when i was down under a couple of years ago, this particular lone tree had been 'etched' to within an inch of its life, our guide drew our attention to the 'intricatre etchings' - 'look at the detail' he said, 'in australia we have a special term for people who do this'
