Boy have I missed this forum. I have been on the road and away from my computer for the past month. It has beeen good for getting some pictures.
This is one of my favourites from the Darwin markets. I was waiting to get the flames right when suddenly he looked up and I had to snap away.
Any thoughts, comments would be appreciated.

Excellent shot - subject is well engaged with the viewer and the flames work nicely. Only quibble (a minor one) is it looks a little dark to me.

Mmmm nice
The flames look nice but the skin colour tone could be improved a bit
He looks like he has jaundice.
And I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say that looks like satays he's cooking

Great shot, a pity you cut out the last few fingers on his left hand, that's my biggest annoyance @ the shot.

Many thanks for the comments. His skin colour was actually not that yellow i think it was the flames that gave him that colour. And yes they were satay sticks that he was cooking.
