So here goes, hope the link works. Would love to hear other people's opinions.

baboo, Welcome to the forum. Ok i have had a look at all your pics and they are great and well shot, a little bit dark on some for me but that could be my monitor but still good pics. So you met out Mudder at his near #1 home i think. You will enjoy the great friendly people here to offer advice if needed and lots of good reading.
Cheers

G'day Ray.

Glad you could come and play :) Yep, you caught me at my second home I think  I think you'll enjoy the forum, heaps of friendly, knowledgeable members here... There's a Melbourne meet next week-end July 10th at Fed Sq. Refer to this thread: http://www.d70users.com/viewtopic.php?t=6556

These are terrific, I particularly enjoyed:
DSC_2078, the Hippo's thinking WTF?
DSC_2091, the Mandrill mother and baby and the adolescent with her, those ropes are buggers though eh?
DSC_2159, the tiger, this is great! I've had so much trouble trying to get a clear sharp shot in that dark area... Well done...
DSC_2187, good framing
and of course the meercats, aren't they the cutest lil' buggers? Great fun to just sit and watch... Looks like you had a good day :)

Any PP on 'em?

Cheers mate.

Welcome to the forums and I had a look at some of your photos. They'd work a treat if a bit of PP was done to a few to boost the levels and saturation :D

As mudder mentioned, there's a meet this Sunday if you'd like to join us.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I hope to make the meet this weekend. Depends of a few other things.

At the moment I'm still trying to get use to the D70 after shooting with an F80 and still using an FM2.

Running digital as I've found seems to be more involved than a 35mm, especially with post-picture taking processing. Still a relative novice when it comes to manipulating pics in Adobe.

Cheers,
Ray :D

Welcome Ray, nice shots. Were they all shot on your D70 or something else? Particularly PR 3 & 4 seem like they were taken on something else. Nice album

Yeah, sorry, PR 3&4 were taken using an FM2 while I was undergoing photographic training from the defence force.

That album contains a few pictures which were taken using the FM2 and F80 prior to my purchase of the D70. You could probably tell which ones.

Mudder, regarding the tiger, the shots were taken with the use of the SB-800. I found I had to use it a fair bit especially with the small cats. I was actually really amased at the actual range of the speedlight.
