Boys and Girls,
After my last set of photos go not feedback either way, I would really love some comments on this lot, which I took over the weekend.

30 sec / f 6.3 / 18 mm (27 mm SLR Equiv) / ISO 400 / Flash: Not Fired
30 sec / f 13 / 40 mm (60 mm SLR Equiv) / ISO 400 / Flash: Not Fired
Thanks,
Wade

G'day Wade,
Sorry if your last post was missed...
The first one I'm not sure on, might be related to the fact that I think I don't have a creative bone in my body at times, so I'm not sure...
The second is simply stunning... Love the effect and the use of colour, the eerie lighting on the underside of the trees with that sky looks great!
The third is a great example of reflections but the orangey brickwork in the background is distracting, maybe a clone/burn jobbie in PP?
You have a very creative eye, well done...
Wow, I keep going back to that second image

I like the second image too, but I keep going back to that first one. I'm still trying to figure out what it is.

Hi WadeM,
great shots, the 3rd one is the one I really like, the reflection and quietness of the shot is great. A bit of PP would probably make it awesome.
Like phillipb, still trying to think what that #1 is.
Well done,

First one is someone swooping a torch around and around??
Second one is great, Ive got a similar-ish one that I must post sometime, though its not as good as this one. The colours in the reflection shot are awesome. Good set of pics, though the first one is a little too abstract for me

Hi Wade,
Love the #2 and #3 shots! #2 looks like something out of "War of the Worlds"! (Yes, I watch to many movies
) Love the how the sky+colours plays with the shape of the tree. #3 is very clean looking with nice reflection. Question about #1. What is it? It looks like one of those mosquito deterants.
Well done and keep posting!

Thanks for the comments all! I wasn't expecting such positive feedback!
The first shot is actually the fence light on someone's house. I was walking around an area full of penthouses and this was just a fence post/handle thingy. It's actually meant to be a symbol of a shell(I'm pretty sure)..the place is by the water, so it sorta makes sense???
Cheers,
Wade

Certainly #2 has a very powerful and eerie look to it - well caught, and #3 is simplistic and colourful - well done

The second one definitely does it for me based on the eeriness of the trees. At first I thought you started playing with the dolphin torch

Yeah number two is very very good. The exposure is great with just the right amount of light in the sky behind. All three are cool, but number 2 is a standout for me and obviously many here. Well done.

I was going to say almost the exact same thing, but you said it for me!
Good work Wade! #2 is really nice...I have a soft spot for long exposure night/evening shots
