We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

We were lucky enough to win tickets, just a couple of images from yesterday which was brilliant!
Not prize winners by any stretch, i'm just happy i persuaded myself to take the D70 and lit lens along....and happy to have been fortunate to be part of the event.....

Floyd re-united - i took many similar images throughout the day, just as a record of who played, guess the reforming of Floyd was amongst the big things of the day though, as was my learing to understanding metering at this type of light........!

Hey Chris, Nice shots, would have been a great event to go to for sure as we seen it on the tv here, hell i would have loved to seen Pink Floyd and others.

Chris - your shots remind me of the Stones concert I went to in Hyde Park (way back when) and they do convey the feeling on the day.
Pink Floyd - the greatest group (IMO) that has ever performed and to see them back together for this concert is fantastic. I saw them back in the 70’s at Earls Court (may have been Olympia) and also after Roger left in Sydney. Thanks for the shots  Chris

What an event... and a great achievement for the organisers... The whole thing was very moving... Hopefully it'll make the right 8 people sit up and take notice...
I watched the live broadcast for as long as I could stay awake and woke up the next morning in time to catch Pink Floyd... Amazing!!!
I also watched the Channel 9 "highlights" last night - some very interesting editing...  Not very representative of the original concert...
One thing did occur to me though... Couldn't the German organisers have chosen a better location?? I know the Brandenburg Gate provided a nice backdrop, but the bands seemed to be playing at the end of a very narrow street, with the crowds stretching off for kilometers... Very strange...

Given i'd originally thought about not taking the D70 i'm glad i changed my mind.......
With hindsight maybe i should have left the 70-300 in the bag as well but there you go.......
It was a fantastic (well, if you take madonna and mariah carey out of the equation) and very moving day, dont think there was a dry eye in the house when they brought on a very striking young lady of 23 who was originally shown as part of LiveAid at just 3 years old and very close to death.
Not only do things like this rock, they work.........

My eye certainly wasn't dry... One of the most memorable moments - even if the poor girl had to pretend to dance with Madonna!!!
