Goodness knows I am a sucker for a macro shot, but Kerry this one is great.
I am hoping Santa will be nice to me again this year and drop a dedicated macro lens under the tree for me. cheers Deb "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."
Thought you had disappeared Kerry and then you come up with a shot that makes me yearn for that lens and it’s a Nikkor to boot

Lovely shot kerry. The reflections actually make it look like there's vegetation bundled up inside the drop. Well done

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind comments!
Chris: The 70-180 micro is one tough lens. I really like it. I just picked up a Sigma 180 macro, which is about half the price of the Nikkor. Focus is much faster and quiet on the Sigma and it has almost double the working distance, so it's a cool lens for chasing bugs. But, it's a prime, not gonna replace my Nikkor. I did about 100 shots with the Sigma tonight. It's a very sharp lens as well. It's a little smaller than the 70-200 F/2.8, but larger than the Nikkor 70-180. my gallery of so-so photos
