.... MVA rollover

No serious injuries, just some damaged vehicles and pride. I think the drivers just wanted to be able to talk to the pretty police officer.... or to talk to the firies depending on the team they bat for.... :D :D

nothing overly interesting however comments more than welcome....

Great series of pics mark - I like, in particular, the B&W shot of the guy taking notes and what’s not to like about the policewoman

I like the guy taking down notes image as well. Maybe too artistic for a newspaper though? I'd like to see that one printed though in the paper. Bit of change from the usual :)

Mark,

I too like the B&W of the guy taking the notes.

As an observation on the MV; that Nissan looks to be heavily overloaded to the point of being top-heavy. I'm not at all surprised that it rolled over; it certainly wouldn't have needed much help to stray from a vertical attitude.

Perhaps I'm drawing a long bow, but what I'm seeing is a classic case of not simply operator error, but some damn good reasons why 4WD operators do need to take some sort of awareness classes so that they can gain an appreciation of the dynamics of the vehicle that they're driving, and how (and how much) different they may be from a common sedan.

And the fashion statement made by the guy's shoes .... :)

chris - thanks chris... and yep... nice looking lady. :)

PiroStitch - i'm a sucker for that shot too... turned out pretty much how i saw it in my head at the time... which is always rewarding. Far too arty for the newspaper but I might print it myself. I have a PJ portfolio which I'm slowly building.

Gary - thanks... very loaded vehicle which looked slightly too much if you ask me. it's too hot still in wonderful Qld to be wearing slacks :)

John - thanks mate. OT... qld drivers don't require P plates as mandatory afaik.

Wacky - thanks ... I'm trying :) I really wanted to ask what all the gear was... but the person seemed a little peeved off... ;)
