My first attempts at water droplets

Both shot with a D70, SB-800 and Sigma 105mm Macro and Manfrotto tri-pod.

I think you need a bigger dish without a design on it... the out of focus design really detracts from how solid those images actually are.

I like the first image with the droplet frozen :) Not an easy task.

Great Shots.......what set-up did you use? Lighting, lens, shutter speed etc? I agree with the pattern issue but the blue dish really sets off the colour in the droplets.

Welcome - as a Sigma advocate I welcome another 105 user and what great shots. I actually like the patterns :D
