They're very good Kerry. You must have a steady hand to hand hold at that focal length and exposure time, or is it the VR lens?
I can't see any noise at iso1600. Did you do anything to get rid of noise, or is that just the way they came out of the D70?

Nice shots.

Cheers :)
John

Gerat shots Kerry, although if I might say, and it could be the monitor that I'm viewing it from, the 2nd image appears to have a tinge of a yellow cast on it. Well done though, lovely shots! :)

Great framing one the second one Kerry. Its great! Like John said, very smooth and no visible noise as well.

Thanks for the kind comments. :D

John: These photos were processed last year on a laptop. I don't recall whether or not NR was applied, but I can see obvious color noise in the 2nd photo. I wish I'd used my flash, especially on the 2nd shot. :?

Geoff: Yes, there does appear to be a yellow cast. I blame all of that on the lousy laptop screen.... 8)

I prefer the second image :) Very cute.

I'm very surprised at the noise level at ISO 1600 Kerry (ie. absolutely none). Did you do anything to reduce the noise or was it pretty much removed due to the resized image?

Kerry,

#1 looks familiar; have you posted this before ... maybe about three months back?

Thanks, guys. :D

Piro: I don't recall how the images were processed. There is still color noise in the 2nd one for sure. :?

Gary: I know that I posted a similar shot, where the wolf was looking directly at me. Don't remember if I posted this particular shot before or not, though.... :(
