Calm day in LauncestonA calm day at Launceston's Second Basin.
D70, kit lens, 27mm, f9, 1/160sec Comments welcome, Cheers John

I like this shot, but think it could be even better with a bit more green to the trees. Were they really this yellow/brown - it just seems to me that with all that water they'd be really lush. Peter

nice image ...... great location....... but if you get lower and closer to the water line say about 20 to 30cm above the water this shot will have a lot more impact........ and a bit more pp
cheers bp Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Thanks for the feedback Peter and bp.
This was taken a couple months ago before I changed from jpegs to raw, so the wb may be a bit wrong and it's a bit harder to adjust when you haven't got the raw. I'll go back to the original image and see if I can improve on it (or go back to Launceston and take it again). Good suggestion about getting lower to water bp. (the Launceston option is looking the one, not sure if I can get lower to the water in photoshop) Cheers John
