Stubbsy, like them all. Might have framed the first a bit wider to show the desolate surrounds but like them and the crisp blue skies. First is my pick.

Nuts the clouds are wild and the sand very bright
does the CPL filter make the sand look much brighter in the second shot?
I like the 2nd the most and the colour of the hut in the first
12-24DX lens used?
nicely composed too!

Stubbsy,
I still like the first shot for the colours, the colour on the french pub is natural and I thought the colour of the hut was as well or at least close, but that is irrelevant.
Nice shots,

Gerard

Hi Peter,
I like 1st and 3rd. I might rcompose 3rd a bit myself if i'd shot this scene to place riders to the bottom left crossing of thirds and get more houses from the right.
Are you still using SRGB?
that might be a bit of problem with saturation, I recon

Stubbsy, these pics bring back memories, spent many of my childhood holidays on the dairyfarm at Williamtown, playing tennis at Stockton, Medowie, swimming at the RAAF base and Lemon tree passage, visiting rels at the Terrace...
Nice colour, these shots tell a story

OK
I've redone the PP on the two high sat versions of these. Is this better:
And added a third one for good measure:

very good stubbsy, like them lots.
You seem to enjoy cool tones in your pics, while I enjoy warm tones. Each to their own.
Cheers.

Never really thought about it Heath, but you're right - I''m a sucker for blues. Guess that's why I liked the cloud shots the most.
