Mick,
Love the 4-dog-team pic. The mist (dust?) gives the picture a good feel of what its usually like out running the dogs first thing in the morning. The 1st 2-dog-team pic is a great action shot of how much power the dogs are putting down, though I cant quite pick their breed?? Id possibly crop it verticle around the musher to cut out the crowd/netting in the background and the girl in the pink jacket. Then clone out the course-flags that are left. Im out running my girl Ayla this weekend at my club's annual race. Unfortunately my scooter wouldnt handle the weight to run in freight, so my poor little Mal is gonna have to mix it with the Huskies. I'll try and get some pics as well if I have time. Rob. Smile; it makes people wonder what you have been up to.
Hi guy's thanks for the comments.
For your information, all the dogs pictured in this sequence are all Siberian Huskies. I do have some Mally pics as well, but I haven't posted them as yet. The lighting was very trying as it was constantly changing. It was just after 7am in the forest where it was at best 2 degrees Celsius and bloody freezing! (35F for our non metric friends) I just love the way the dogs get into it. They thoroughly enjoy it, and no sooner have you raced a 6-8km race (in 10-12min), they want to do it all again Cheers, Mick.
