Thanks for the comments. It's very hard for me to see when the horizon is straight and when its's not, may be it comes with experience.

By the way, at Xmass time I was in Germany, went to the top of the Zugspitz, minus 12 deg with a 30KPH wind blowing! I lasted 7 mins on the observation platform and 10 mins the second time.... the D70 took it in its stride!
