Glasshouse Mountains Sunset Pano

I took this panorama last week looking from Bribie Island, across Pumicestone Passage, towards the Glasshouse Mountains.

I realise that the RHS could be exposed a bit more to bring out the mountains, but figured that it still looks OK.

As always, comments & criticism is welcome.

Tell me about it . . . . .

I have just arrived back in Canberra from up north. . . It is a slight weather shock!

It was a beautiful sunset, amazing to watch, pretty good to photograph. :P

Great sunset. Great subject too. The sun fits nicely to the rule-of-thirds and makes the image visually appealing.

About halfway up the Bruce Hwy (freeway section) just to the north of Caboolture there is a small hillock that provides a great view of the GHM that would have been ideal for that sunset. Access is via the south bound lanes. There is a service station nearby. If you are still in the area check it out. The view is worth the walk to the top of the hill. Here is the view you can get

Yup this shot works. Nice capture OJ. Canberra is indeed a cold dog of a city at the moment.

Nice image Tristan
Great colour in the sky and I don't mind the fact that you have not made the mountains the promiment part.
The mountain that Killakoala is talking about is Wild Horse Mountain but at that time of day you have to be careful or the mossies will carry you away.
Well done.

Yere, I know the place that you are speaking of. Accessed via the Southern Mobil Service Station if i recall correctly?

I have lived in Gympie for about the past 5 years, I am down south here for Uni, hence the reason I frequent QLD regularly. :D

Thanks for the positive comments,
Tristan

Shrug, I was walking around in the Brisbane Ranges (Vic) today. Never realised it was winter, nor could you tell given that every where looked quite dry and yellow still.

Nice!

Lovely pic, I have friends that have unbelievable views of the Glasshouse mountains and I'm heading up there next week, will have to give the new Sigma 20mm 1.8 a test drive.
