Playing with the idea of making something look like something it is not..

here's a shot which I have called curtain call, as to my eye it looks like curtains at a theatre...

for those interested.. it's actually petals from a gerbera. only PP was USM and obviously a border... increased the flash to ensure the background was black and not to let too much light in....

very nice effect indeed. What kind of lighting did you use. It is very subtle, I like it.

inbuilt flash... 2 halogens bulbs (poor man's lighting) either side with wb adjusted accordingly...
