I went to the prelims for my god-daughter's final-year formal over the weekend.

Penny is on far LHS, in yellow.

I forgot my LightSphere II thingy, and resorted to the old fashioned way - the tissue over the flash-head, secured by a rubber-band. Crude but effective.

Your PP blurring is showing at the margins. Nice effect though. The girls all look great.

I think the lightsphere would have made a huge difference as the only offputting thing I can see in the photo is the flash hitting the girls on the right

Tidied it up with a tighter crop and adjusted blur.
