Thought I'd throw up a picture of my 14 month old girl Sofia for comment.
Any comments (constructive criticism welcomed) would be appreciated.
Thanks - Vic

Bit of PP in Photoshop Elements 2 (my brain and budget only stretch as far as Elements, but even then I'm challenged!)

Love the shot ... very cute and mischevious at the same time!
Constructive criticism: How much PP did you do, the highlights look a little blown out to me? Or maybe my eyes are just weary... long long day....
Well done..

actually Xerebus - I think you are right. I tend to be lazy and use the "auto fix" for contrast and brightness and colour and only reject if it is too over the top. I think I need to become a bit more discriminating and do the manual thing a bit more.
Thanks for the motivation to do so.

Lovely expression.
Regarding the highlights, I'm also observing that the reds appear to be a little blown. This is of interest to me because at one of the bars I shoot at, the lighting is predominately red, and if my exposues are too generous, I'm seeing something similar.
And (finally) with the band shoot I did on Subday, one of the players was wearing bright red, and again, I've seen a tendancy towards blowing out in the red spectrum.
Interesting ...
