First portrait with new lens

First Picture with my new portrait lens (85mm f/1.4)...thanks Birddog....

Too much red in the image has given it a bit of a colour cast......

Stuart, big red colour cast on your sample, the model looks like he has red hair, so does his t-shirt & background. I will buy it from you cheap :lol:

Nice portrait, I am sure you are very happy with it, I would be :D

Other than the Red, the picture is fine and well it is all a matter of playing with different things to get something you are happy with. I too take a few shots just incase to play with.

It's the king of portrait lenses. I know you will come to love it as much as i love mine. Your quality of images and more importantly, portraits, will just overwhelm you. It's sharp, the bokeh is beautiful and the depth of field is a marvel to play with.

Have fun with it and i hope to see more of your portraits.

Nice portrait - if you are using PS try working with the colour balance control :D
