I took a walk last Friday afternoon and shot this image. It kinda popped up between the trees as I went past. The first has been altered in PSCS with the shadow/highlight filter + some minor contrast adjustment.
The 2nd is in it's raw state.
1. Which do you prefer?
2. What could I have done better?
Any comments are appreciated and thanks!!

#2 looks underexposed to me. #1 is great, has a sort of 'slide film' look to it. Would like to see #2 with +0.3/0.5 EV. :)

#1 for sure. Perhaps improved if you lowered the viewing angle? Hard to say really. A circular polarizer may have helped with colour saturation?

You've bought some life to the scene with your pp.

Number one for sure.

to the risk of sounding like a broken record, #1 is the better one. PP certainly changed it from a picture to a great photo.

Well done marcus,

Cheers,

Radar.
