Thanks to Birddog i now have 2 new lens 200mmf4 Macro - 10.5mm Fisheye, heres a few first shots cant waite to get into the macro`s today

My favourite is the first one close second is the last one, classic on the river with the rowers.

They certainly are crystal clear, looking forward to seeing your coming photos with the 200mm

The 200/f4 is the one was built with "full metal jacket", quality of sharpness, clarity, and has its ability of a small long lens also.

You can see how heavy it's in comparison with the 10.5 FE or the new 300 AF-S/ F4.

Pls. note: Nikon doesn't produce these type of built/ construction in their Nikkor range anymore. Perhaps one day near, you'll find it rare items.

This is another reason, why I want to keep and lust the "old fashion" built Nikkor lens. The new Nikkor type/ range, it seems to me plasticky and the rings (apeture/ focus) play up a lot after few month in use.

Thanks the river shots were taken at around half 5 today, i forgot the tripod so the shots were handheld i think they have come out ok, at 100% crop you can see a tad of motion blur

Don't go with the 200 VR, I found it's not useful range though oneputt already have the 70-200VR and you have the 200/f4.
Honestly, I want the 300/VR previously but had changed my mind due to the 200-400VR in my possession + 3 x TCs of 1.4/1.7/2.0, now I'm looking forward to see my 500/ AF-S II.

The 500 sounds good , i see there is a 600mm nikon lens on ebay i think its around 6-7gs

Not much interest in the 600mm range though.
