Pumicestone Passage

Hello all

Cricketfan posted a link recently about Pumicestone Passage and the image in the link reminded me of something I recently captured....

Welcome Slider, and congrats on the pix -very good indeed.

For those outside Queensland who may not know, Pumicestone Passage is a narrow strait that separates Caloundra and Bribie Island. It is well known as an angler's paradise.

I've always been intrigued by its name. It gives me visions of mobs of women in the water rubbing their elbows with the pumicestone that must be on the beach! :lol: BTW, nice images Gecko.
