Today i went to watch a friend compete in the Dutton Rally and of course i couldnt miss the chance to take some pictures.

Feel free to make honest comments, i wont be offended.

I really love this shot.

All very nice shots, Jamie. Very sharp and nice colours. Did you zoom while taking the last shot?

Atorie - no i didnt have a drive, its something like 2.5k to enter the event and besides my car isnt up to scratch for such events.

Alex - yes i did zoom while taking the last shot, i thought id try something a little different, something a little arty. I quite like it even though it does my head in looking at it. :lol:

hey Jamie,
did you end up going to sandown last week?

with the images i reckon you could try to blur the wheels a bit more, the parked car look is one of my pet peeves and try to avoid it at all cost, unless it of a crashed car or a real parked car

redline - no i didnt go to Sandown last weekend, just didnt have the time.

By bluring the wheels you mean slowing down the shutter speed?

My pet peeves about car photography are: pictures of cars taken on grass, parked accross parking bays and the lines in general also pictures of cars in driveways or out on the street, although there are exceptions to the rules. Running a car club as i do i get to see them all! :lol:
