More Indecisive moments

Three that I decided not to enter in the recent comp. The first one I got cold feet on - figured it was too whimsical and probably not decisive enough. The second - well I just didn't think the image quality was good enough. The third one was my third choice for entry.

You definately chose the right images for the comp :)

but these, although you are well aware are not technically perfect, have charm in more ways than one!

#2, whilst being far from charming is a very interesting shot. I quite like it. The blurriness emphasising movement combined with the blank bacground work well together.

#1 is commical :P  .

#2 has a "Funniest Home Video" about it..I hope the subject in #2 isn't diving into the pelicans in #3...

Peter,

2nd and 3rd images, in order you placed them, is a nice pair :) Pelicans are waiting for food and food is coming .... :)

Peter, re: #2 - if you had made up some BS story about a suicide jump or intoxication, leaping off tall structures and the like... would've got my vote. ;)

mmm... can't say I think much of any of these sorry (person taste issue perhaps). The pelican shot seems technically fine but doesn't say much. The Xmas shot is cute and... well... xmassy with the framing and all.
And the second photo... mmm...

I know you can do better...

P.S. apologies for the brutal response

Peter,

I actually really like #2. I don't know why, but I like it. Perhaps if it was B&W and a little bit grainy it might enhance it further?

This one was a real conundrum for me. There was something I liked about it too yet it was so poor technically. I played around with alls sorts of treatments (especially the colour temp to shift it between purple, or blue or grey) and ultimately decided I'd spent enough time on it and put it aside.

Must say grainy B & W is one I didn't try.

I liked #3, mainly because I'm more interested in animals than Santa or a young holigan trying to commit suicide
