Sorry Arthur, this shot doesn't do it for me. I like the concept and the bowl looks to be a interesting subject but the glare/light reflection really detracts from the capture and overrides the texture. I'm not sure if you were able to control any of the light as I see it was at a art gallery but if possible maybe use some diffused lighting or even try a polariser..

I have to agree with atoire, the shine is really really distracting. The blue dots with the chinese/japanese/koreon characters are interesting. Sorry
