Carrington Falls - Southern Highlands - NSWThe lighting from the main lookout was shocking, but after walking around to a different viewpoint I found some better lighting and the power of RAW was able to save something from the session.
Praise RAW. Didnt quite get the majesty of the whole falls though. Do you think they turned out OK or are they so-so? Feel free to tell me I can take it. Hey Willy. I think you did a good job given that you don't really have too many options to change your viewpoint.
The falls look good and the surrounding green leaves and stuff suit the pic well.
Cheers Owen - Thanks for the feedback. I also checked out your website. Cool idea. Good luck with that
Cheers Ray - now that i have learnt how to do this technique - it makes going to waterfalls all the more exciting. Personally i think photographing smaller waterfalls is easier than the larger ones. You also have to pick your lighting. Bright conditions make it near on impossible to photograph with a long exposure. Thanks for your comment - I appreciate the feedback.
