Woke up this morning to snow falling in Hobart. Fairly unique occurrence, especially considering how close we are to the river.

A veritable winter wonderland.

I'm waiting for it to snow in Sydney. Then I can pull the roof down on the convertible and torment Sycamore #1.

Hi John,
Interesting to see it snowing in Hobart, I was there in June and it was very cold.
I like the 3rd picture of the daffidil (Spelling?) it could maybe benefit from a little fill flash or boost in PS.
The images make's me feel homesick :(

Great shots there John. Bel and I toured Tassie in a campervan a few years back and it's one of my favourite, if not most favourite holidays ever...we had a great time - a beautiful place!! Keep up the great work and don't stop posting! Cheers,

Awesome. I am glad i am not there though. Too cold for me.

So much for Global Warming.

There is something magical about snow falling though.

Beautiful pics!

I was waiting patiently all day for it to snow in Melbourne, but it all happened around me. Victoria experienced some great falls in South Gippsland, and around the Great Ocean Road. Even Phillip Island got a dusting! Magical stuff! Had the D70 sitting on the dining table ready to grab.....that's where it stayed, unfortunately.

Thanks for the comments all.
I did a bit more work on the poor overloaded daffodill. I think this one looks better.
