I just love my dog (B&W)This was a conversion using Matt K's method in PS to LAB mode, splitting the channels and then playing with one of the splits...Critique welcomed:

This works better for me than the colour version you've posted elsewhere. I think the image lends itself very much to a treatment like this. Well done. Peter
