Okie dokie people... this is the first image from a series I'm working on for my end of year... even tho I'll probably only get one of the images done large as it takes ages for me to get one shot done... this one alone took around 10-12 hours to do.

It's called LeighLo & Stitch!

This was shot with a D70 in the studio with about 3 or 4 (I don't remember entirely... I'll check my lighting notes later on...) light heads with flash.

Now, if you're curious, this is how I've done it.
I originally shot myself sitting next to an empty chair and then the same shot (almost) with a plush gorilla sitting in the chair.

The Gorilla Shot
The Empty Chair Shot

I then printed off the gorilla shot, drew Stitch over him...

My Stitch drawing
Stitch over the Gorilla

... scanned that, coloured it, resized, and started working on 3d tinting and after so much work... got the result you can see at the top of this post. :)

There is a meaning behind it, by the way. While I made it to make people laugh and like it and what not, there is a meaning behind it.

You'd fit right in if you worked for someone like Pixar animations. Awesome work, very good professional looking results!

It doesn't involve an anvil does it?

Well done nnnnsic

You could probably use an anvil especially for banging your head on it, the moment when you wake up following one of your legendary late nights and you suddenly realise your hangover is also legendary as well :D :D :D

Excellent work though

Cheers
