Hi guys. 4 pics that I took at the beach today. Hadn't been there before and I was surprised with what I found. Can't do much about the light as it was midday and high contrast but let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Owen.

I like your style of landscape photography Owen, with rocks/objects in the foreground to capture attention and drag the viewer into the scene - and they're sharp from near to far - so that's good use of depth of field.
The very first thing I saw on the first image however detracted from my enjoyment - the halo'ed tree branch against the blue sky. Evidence of oversharpening. I would suggest reduce your USM radius value (and boost the amount if desired) until the branch to sky edge doesn't have white surrounding it.

Great pics, love them. Thanks Onyx for pointing out the problem with the branch, as a newbie I hadn't noticed it but now I do and how to fix it!

Glen, you're crazy. It's still winter!
Onyx, thanks for the comments. I have a photoshop action that I use to resize for the web and sharpen, perhaps the sharpening in that is a little over-the-top as the full sized version seems alright. Thanks for pointing that out.
Moggie, ain't this forum great for learning stuff!
