G'day All,
I captured these pics today at the "practice".
Positive Criticism is desired, as the real thing is tommorow, and any tips would be appreciated.

Most pics are ISO 200 or 400, Sigma 55-200, Tv 1/640 or 1/800.

(Forgive me if i get the names wrong. :D)

Hi Tristan , i sure would have loved to have been in Canberra for this weekends celebrations, I have been taking pics of A/C for many years and have yet to master it, and i dont know much about Cannon gear,But if i may offer the following advice,First i always shoot in shutter priority so,
With jets get your shutter speed as high as you can aim for 1000sec , try not to take pics of the subject unless it fills 1/2 to 3/4 of the viewfinder, try to get the subject well lit (a real challenge i know) start by remembering the routines you saw today and anticipate what and when,
if you need to shoot a shadowed subject, if you know how to compensate by dialling it in then do so , take a few tests or review the shot by ''chimping'' till you get the lighting right, or shoot raw and work on underexposed shots on the p.c.
also if you have a monopod and are comfotable with it use it for the propeller a/c and use a shutter speed of 1/250, if you dont have a monopod shoot no higher than 1/400/500 or you will freez the prop making it look less ''real'', hope this helps mate, have fun
