Now I will have nightmares.
Very nice shots Kerry. How do you pose the insects? "The good thing about meditation is that it makes doing nothing respectable"

Woah, love the detail in the first one but can't quite make out what he (or she?) is having for lunch (looks like you're building up quite a collection of dust bunnies in that first one )
I think the Marty Feldman eyes on the second dude crack me up Aka Andrew
Thanks, Oneputt! Most of my recent shots have been at night. It's the only way I've been able to get decent poses, especially of the spiders and other very skittish critters. my gallery of so-so photos

Kerry, quite a portfolio of macro work you're collecting there !!!
You also have a good set of kit, fit for purpose... of the setups you have, what would you say was your favourite/most useful ???
Thanks, Andrew! I'm not sure, but I think the spider is eating an ant. I agree, the eyes of the little moth are very cool. I didn't see them until after I'd downloaded to the computer. It's a very small moth or something of that nature. my gallery of so-so photos

Thanks, Mj! My favorite for small, skittish insects is the Sigma, especially with the 1.4 TC. My favorite for flowers and larger or more sedate critters/objects is the Nikkor 70-180 micro. my gallery of so-so photos
