Nice pic, CF. I would have moved more to the left (if that was possible), and positioned the seated figures on the right hand side of the frame to cover the dark blank space.

Thanks - there was a big tree to the left, and I would have had to shoot away from the boats.

I wanted to include a foreground and also a "middleground" to avoid a cliched sunset shot.

I have already cropped the bottom of the pic to remove wasted space
