So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

I like shot three

Postby vrboy on Wed Aug 17, 2005 12:27 am

Great shots, I take it you used your 200 macro for these?
I particularly like shot three, something in there is cheeky:-) I can just see the pelican thinking "this is my best side"
The last reflection shot is also great. Did you do any sharpening in post or are they as is from the camera?

Hi Vrboy yes all shots with the 200mm Macro i have a action that i use it's + 5 SAT - smart sharp at max size 150/0.2/ Lens Blur then resize down to 810x600 USM 10/20/0 then frame most of the time this works ok

I have to say the Nikkor micro 200/f4 lens is not only to use for macro and it's useful as the tele as well, its built and optical is superb.
Once again, it's in the hand of the right photog, it'll produce more stunning images as ever.

To me, these shots are both well sharpened and from a sharp lens.

Really great pics, I like them all :D
