Hmm...35-70/2.8... never seen that one??
Is it similar to the 28-70?

Nice colour on the couple!

No, it's smaller than 28-70 and less popular with DSLR due to its focal lenght on 1.5x crop factor.

Scott - it’s in the Nikon lens lineup :D

Kerry - this is a major divergence for you, from the zoo to humans

In the second shot - there are two things I noticed that I like - one foot of the foreground lady and the man are just off the ground (a decisive moment) and the look on the other ladies face - envy :?:

Very nice shots

AFAIK, it's the optical equivalent of the more expensive lens, but without AF-S and is a push-pull zoom. It's an excellent lens and a good value, IMO.

Nice colour on the couple!

heh, thanks. :) The wedding shots were under terrible conditions. Beastly hot, bright, harsh sunlight, and deep shadows with backlighting.

I got lots of human shots. :D Prolly more than zoo shots.

The feet off the ground was just luck. :P The lady in the background was a very fair skinned redhead. I don't think I got one shot of her that didn't blow out on her skin. She was always in the sun, while the others were in the shade or had a darker complexion. In this shot, it looks like she was looking at me, so it's no wonder she had that look of amusement or chagrin on her face.
