Killakoala hard at work. A D70 Perspective.

Interestingly, while i was taking the first photo, a collegue was taking the second photo, of me taking the first photo, and he is in the first photo too, if you look hard enough, on the boat behind. Confusing? Not really, he was using a D70 too.

I prefer the first shot - you had the rotor blur, while the other guy's capture had the helicopter falling out of the sky with no rotor movement. :)

I prefer the frozen look. Not a fan of blurry pics

Aww do you know how hard it is to get blurred rotors on choppers? :)

Aircraft are easy but choppers.. hehe

Nice shot Steve, wish i could get opportunities like that :)

Overall the first shot is the better capture - primarily because the rotor blur gives a sense of movement, but the heat haze in the second shot adds good impact missing from the first.
