I love the flare in the first shot, it represents the light of God to me

I agree the flare in the first definitely adds to the picture for me and I like the overall composition.

However, it looks like you were pointing the camera very slightly to the left of centre, which has spoilt it a little for me. Its meant that the crosses arent quite level and the curvature of the WA lens isnt equal on both sides and the poles on the ground are out of line. I wonder if you can crop it and straighten it without losing the look of the flare on the right hand side??

The second one is very well exposed and I like the composition. Only nit about the second one is that you have chopped the very top of the window off, which makes it feel unfinished.

It is the church there, no sorry didnt stumble over the Nikon rubber eyecup its mine, maybe you should asked God if he saw it, I asked him for a wallet I lost once and it was returned to me by a total stranger weeks later.
