Was just looking back through some of my photos and happened upon some of my sunsets - so I have a play with them.

Nick

There's a great bunch of shot's here, but the number posted is a bit daunting. I notice you've done this a few times and my tired old brain starts to shut down after about the 5th image  Maybe it would be an idea to pick the best of the bunch for display and linking the rest when you have a lot to post.

In any case, here's my thoughts on the shots that stand out for me:
#2 jumps out at me for the subtle gradtion in colours you've captured
#7 - while the colours look very high sat (nature isn't that pretty is it?) I really like the treatment in this one

#5 & #6 are the only ones that don't grab me. I think the dark off centre foreground is too distracting.

Cheers

G'day Nick,
Wow, I feel so much calmer and relaxed now after going through these, thanks... :) Beautiful colours and settings, isn't it an awesome experience to be there to capture a setting like that at the right time.

Nice shots Nick. One of my favorite subjects.

Number 2 is my pick :D Very nice.

Thanks for all the comments.

Stubbsy: Point noted about many images, in future I'll try to put links to a few, especially those that are quite similar. You'll probably not like my Bees thread though
The colours in 6 & 7 are not that far off what they were in real life. I bumped up the saturation a bit, but not a huge amount.

Number 2 would be my favourite too, and it once again has shown me the power of RAW and post processing. The unfiddled original is a rather boring image.

Nick, outstanding colours, i liked em all, it's a great time of day isn't it, only rivalled by dawn, only then one has to extract one self from slumber with no g'tee it will be a nice one, and i've been dissapointed a few times!!!, at least with sunsets you can more or less tell whats coming if you know the area
