I took this with the polarizer on as well as I adjusted the tree really jumped out of the background

thoughts?

I agree with alex, very cool angle. I like the pastel colors of the plants in the front, it goes well with the tree. I am curious though, with such a wonderfully blue sky, how the pic would look with the color brought out more in the front. perhaps sharpen it a bit too. looks pretty busy for being out of focus. love to see a B&W too. there are soo many angles a picture can be tackled from, it's all personal preferance. I like the shot overall. good eye!

Hey VR boy - you have been coming up with a number creative shots in recent days. I really have enjoyed your threads. Keep at it.

Unlike the two previous posters - this one doesn’t work for me. Whilst the shot is taken at an appealing angle - the out of focus colorful cabbage-like plants in the foreground and the stark tree in your composition don’t seem to "link up"? They seem to clash. What are you trying to say with the shot? Im not sure i understand it.

Hope that made sense and you dont mind the honest feedback.

Hi willy, I wasnt really trying to link them in any way, the shot really is about the angle and the tree jummping off the deep blue sky, I was framing up at the time and noticed the shot while playing with the polarizer, I just particularly like the colour, the shot "just is"
, it dosent really mean anything.
Thanks for the honesty, I do appreciate it for it helps us all improve and look at things from others views, I learned a long time ago not to operate out of emotion when gaining constructive critiscism from others, otherwise youll have a breakdown.

Hi vrboy,

I'd probably crop the photo in such a way that I'd loose the cabbage.
I think this focusses much more on the white tree with the blue sky.

I have to agree I think this shot would of worked more if the foreground was in focus aswell.

.....tend to agree......and clone out the green on the left......then the tree has some impact against the blue sky......no distractions.....
