Now that is not your average sunset shot.
Realy looks like a painting, did you do much PP work on it?

Rick, no post processing done on this shot. I was trying to photograph the green flash as the sun sets but on this occasion there was not one but the day was not a total loss.

Love the colours in this, and at first glance it really does look like a painting.
(I'm not familar with this green flash you speak off... is it a sun/ocean refraction thing ?)

Thanks for posting the link radar, yes at sunset when the conditions are right, you can see a green flash which last for a brief amount of time. It is normally easier to spot in adelaide after a high has passed. You need very stable conditions for it to be observed. I ahve seen it on a few occasions but alas did not have the camera with me. This time the weather pattern looked ok but it did not eventuate..such is life
