marc, no it does not, I had the advantage of being a lot closer to the subject, which has empahsised the detail but as you would have found out it is hard to get these little critters in focus when they are buzzing around like that..

.......nice pix's....... bees are hard to shoot as I have been chasing bummble bee's, they move very quick or I am too slow....... here is an old pix of a bee posted a while back.......shot with the kit lens and a heavy crop......

Big pix & Big V They sure are little buggars to catch on film Must have taken 30 odd shots just to get one that I was happy with. (That's photography for you!!) Not unlike those little Hummingbirds, they are the ultimate nightmare to capture well.
